Chris Lytle Re-Signs With UFC

Sam Caplan of 5ouncesofpain has the scoop:
Welterweight veteran Chris Lytle has signed a four fight extension with the UFC. Lytle will return to the Octagon at UFC 89 on Oct. 18 at the NIA in Birmingham, England. While it has yet to be officially announced by the UFC, the report indicates that Lytle’s opponent is expected to be UK-native Paul Taylor.
Good news for Lytle as he is a good fighter that’s fought very tough opposition inside the Octagon. His UFC record is 4 wins and 8 losses…and has fought the likes of Matt Hughes, Karo Parisyan, Josh Koscheck, and Thiago Alves. He’s incredibly difficult to finish and is a good measuring stick for anyone trying to become a contender in the welterweight division.
